Lisa Killeen is a Partner at Holmes, leading the firm's Banking and Finance and Construction departments. Her key areas of expertise are banking and finance, non-contentious construction, commercial property, and corporate restructuring and insolvency.
Lisa advises lenders and borrowers in the financial services sector on loan transactions and advises national and multinational private and corporate clients on their borrowings, including with leading Irish financial institutions. She also acts for public and private sector clients in the construction sector, advises lenders and borrowers on development finance transactions, and practises across all aspects of commercial property law. Lisa trained at William Fry, a leading Dublin law firm, qualified as a solicitor in 2006, and joined Holmes in 2013.
Recent Work Highlights
- Advised Limerick Twenty Thirty Strategic DAC on finance and development workstreams for the Opera Square development in Limerick City, including the Development Agreement for a new 14-storey office building at Bank Place and the ISIF loan facility for One Opera Square.
- Acted a leading pillar bank on a significant loan on a €5,060,000 facility refinancing existing facilities and financing a commercial property fit-out, including preparation of the security pack and a title report to the lender.
- Acted for a borrower on a €40 million facility refinancing the acquisition and adaptation of properties in the social care sector, including negotiation of the facility agreement, security suite and related company law matters.
