A Note from our Managing Partner

I’m delighted to share the exciting news that Holmes O’Malley Sexton LLP has launched Holmes, a new and dedicated brand to specialise and cater for our strong and growing portfolio of corporate, insurance and public sector clients.

It is a landmark move for our firm focussing on our strategic growth for the future as a full service law firm and one designed to prioritise our clients’ requirements.

We don’t resist change, we embrace it.

Harry Fehily

Managing Partner

Our firm was built upon a long-standing culture of heritage, integrity and quality but also one of innovation. The move from HOMS Solicitors to Holmes is in recognition of how we have continued to grow and evolve as we celebrate our 50 years in business and our journey to becoming one of Ireland’s top legal firms with a team of 140 and offices in Dublin, Limerick, Cork and London.  That journey would not have been possible without the support, collaboration and trust of our clients who are our trusted partners as we refine and expand our service offering.

We don’t resist change, we embrace it. The driver for change has been our increasingly strong corporate and insurance client base harnessed from our depth of knowledge and experience advising clients within the financial services, construction, pharma and technology sectors which highlights the commitment of the firm to innovating to meets our clients’ increasingly diverse requirements.

Our public sector portfolio has greatly increased with large universities and city councils among our clients. We are very pleased to welcome Technological University Dublin to whom we provide legal services as sole legal provider following a competitive tender process. Whether advising State, semi-State, large scale multinationals or regional stakeholders, we always aim to deliver practical and creative solutions to complex legal problems.

Our partners and lawyers, who are highly skilled not only in law but in leadership and change management, are acutely attuned to the business objectives of our corporate and insurance clients and are dedicated to continuing to deliver legal services of excellence.

We look forward to embarking on this new and exciting chapter and we are immensely grateful to you, our valued clients, who have been central to our firm’s growth and success over the last five decades.  Thank you.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me or one of the Holmes team if you have any questions.
