Ed Kelly, Senior Solicitor, practices in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. He re-joined the firm in 2023 having previously trained and qualified as a solicitor with the firm.
Ed has significant experience in Commercial litigation with a record of delivering commercial and results focused advice to meet clients’ needs. He has acted on behalf of commercial clients in high value commercial litigation disputes across a range of areas including banking, financial, professional negligence and public procurement.
With particular experience in handling negligence claims and contractual disputes, including shareholder disputes and specific performance actions, Ed regularly handles litigation trials and court applications before the Circuit and Superior Courts. He also advises clients of alternative dispute resolution options and he has obtained successful outcomes for clients in mediations, arbitrations and commercial negotiations.
In addition to this Ed advises private clients and organisations on bringing, defending or intervening in judicial review applications and he has experience in pursuing applications for interim order and injunctive reliefs from the Courts.
Ed acts for international and domestic insurance companies, financial institutions, public bodies, large corporates and private clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious legal matters.
