Avril McNamara, Solicitor, specialises in Banking and Finance and qualified in 2023 , having completed her training with the firm.

Avril practices in our Banking and Finance Group, acting for both private and public sector clients.  She has experience acting for both borrowers and lenders. Avril has assisted in advising private and corporate clients on their borrowings, including new and revised loan facilities, negotiation of security and pre-drawdown requirements. She is advising some of the leading Irish financial institutions on loan facilities and associated loan and security requirements, including property and due diligence exercises.

Recent Work Highlights

  • Acting on behalf of a borrower in a €20 million euro facility for the purpose of refinancing existing loans secured on seven properties in County Kildare and County Waterford.
  • Acting on behalf of a borrower in a €18 million euro facility for the purpose of refinancing existing loans and part funding the acquisition of two target companies.
  • Acting on behalf of a lender in the provision of a facility of circa €18 million euro for the purpose of developing 68 units in Limerick.
  • Acting for a corporate borrower in a €7 million facility for the purpose of building 30 units subject to agreed construction and sales milestones in Limerick City.
  • Acting on behalf of a borrower in respect of a €15 million euro facility for the purpose of developing 68 residential units in County Kerry.
  • Acting on behalf of a borrower in respect of a €7.5 million euro facility for the purpose of refinancing existing loan facilities for the development of 59 residential units in Limerick.
