We were pleased to take part in the recent RIAI Information Session on Professional Indemnity – Insurance, Risk and Claims in Practice, delivered as a live webinar for architects.
The session covered a range of issues shaping the professional indemnity landscape, with a focus on practical considerations for architectural practices, including insurance applications, risk management, record keeping and contractual responsibilities.
Holmes Partner Michael Murphy contributed to a panel discussion chaired by Orla FitzGerald, alongside representatives from Liberty, Marsh and the Leeson Group. The panel provided a broad perspective on current market conditions, claims activity and insurer expectations, drawing on both legal and industry experience.
Our thanks to the RIAI, and in particular Ghinlon Wang, for the opportunity to engage with members and for facilitating a well-attended and engaging session.
Holmes continues to advise architects and construction professionals across Ireland on professional indemnity and dispute resolution matters, and we look forward to continuing to support the sector as it responds to ongoing developments in risk and insurance.
