Holmes representatives Dearbhla Considine and James O’Mahony attended Property Industry Ireland’s annual conference on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
The conference brought together policymakers and industry professionals to discuss ongoing challenges in infrastructure delivery, alongside progress made over the past year through the Government’s Accelerating Infrastructure Taskforce.
Keynote contributions were delivered by Jack Chambers TD, Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, and John Cummins TD, Minister of State at the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, along with a range of sector experts. Discussion focused on the scale of infrastructure constraints and the practical measures being implemented to address them.
The insights from the conference highlight both the pressures currently facing the sector and the direction of future policy. These developments will inform Holmes’ ongoing work with developer clients, particularly in identifying infrastructure-related risks, navigating changing regulatory frameworks, and supporting projects within an evolving delivery landscape.
