ACTIONPOINT ACQUIRES P2V SYSTEMS LIMITED

HOMS Solicitors advised on the recent strategic acquisition of P2V Systems Limited by our client ActionPoint Technology Group. The ActionPoint team, led by David Jeffreys, Managing Director, acquired the business of P2V Systems Limited, the global award-winning Microsoft Cloud Services Company based in Lisburn, Co. Antrim for an undisclosed sum.

ActionPoint Technology Group is an important client and friend of the firm and we are delighted to assist them in expanding their reach and bringing their award winning and world-class services to new markets. ActionPoint is now well positioned to continue its strong and consistent growth, as demonstrated by being placed in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 five years in a row from 2014 to 2018.

David Jeffreys, ActionPoint MD, commented:

“We have a great relationship with HOMS Solicitors, they are our trusted legal advisors and valued customer. This was our first acquisition and it needed to be closed in a tight time frame. George and his team understood the issues quickly and offered us practical support. They were constantly available and delivered within the required time frames and fee structures”.

George Kennedy, Partner, Corporate and Commercial, commented:

“2018 saw substantial opportunities arise in the market for strategic acquisitions, particularly across border and between Ireland and the UK, and the acquisition of P2V Systems Limited by our client ActionPoint Technology Group is a prime example. This partnership is an exciting initiative and an important strategic move into Northern Ireland for ActionPoint. It is a good time for Irish companies to explore their options, as no matter the outcome of Brexit, the UK and Northern Ireland will always be a significant trading partner for Irish businesses and vice versa. We were delighted to have acted for ActionPoint Technology Group on this transaction and look forward to assisting them in reaching their greatest potential”.
