  • Over 200 nationwide sales and acquisitions for Coillte 
  • Acquisition of all of the assets of Yew Grove REIT PLC, to date the assets acquired have an approximate valuation of €141m 
  • Advised on the disposal by Greyhound Racing Ireland of the Harold’s Cross Stadium, value €22m. This advice was complex and included making a court application to acquire the freehold of portion of the stadium on behalf of Greyhound Racing Ireland prior to the sale of the stadium 
  • Acted in one of the first Orders to be granted under the provision of the Land & Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2009 allowing a development site previously “landlocked” to be “unlocked” for planning purposes leading to the development and subsequent disposal of the development site 
  • Acquisition of 61 retail units on behalf of an ICAV 
  • Acquisition of 6 office blocks and greenfield site, value €25.3m 
  • Disposal of 19 retail units in multi-level shopping centre 
  • Property transactions for Shannon Commercial Enterprises DAC including:- 
  • Sale of two buildings, 94,000 square foot in total, to MeriaGTx at Shannon Free Zone, Shannon, Co. Clare 
  • Construction and leasing of an office block and manufacturing premises to Jaguar Land Rover at Shannon Free Zone, Shannon, Co. Clare 
  • Acquisition of Skycourt Shopping Centre and Shannon Town Centre (comprising 91 units), Shannon, Co Clare for a Munster based property investment and development firm 
  • Property transactions, advises and the acquisition of key strategic sites for Limerick Twenty Thirty Strategic Development Designated Activity Company including:-  
  • Landmark Gardens International office block, Limerick City Centre (project value €23m, 112,000 square foot) for all title, property management and landlord and tenant matters 
  • Cleeves Riverside Quarter Site (an estimated €250m to €300m project, ten-acres) for all title matters 
  • Property acquisition projects for University of Limerick, including the acquisition of the former Dunnes Stores Shopping Centre Site, Sarsfield Street, a key strategic site in Limerick 
  • Residential development in excess of 200 houses for a private developer, including sale of portions to approved housing bodies 
  • Land acquisition for Limerick Institute of Technology’s Campus at Coonagh Cross, Limerick 
  • Acquisition of over 250 houses for Dublin City Council
  • Acquisition of three industrial office spaces worth a combined total of €50m on behalf of a publicly traded REIT and the subsequent mortgaging of all properties simultaneously. Put in place a large number of leases and licences for the REIT’s properties, as well as assignments and surrenders 
  • Acquisition of a large number of residential properties across the Leinster region for a private social housing fund, the leasing of same to various local authorities and the subsequent mortgaging of the properties 
  • Acting for a third level educational institution in the leasing and development of lands on their campus to a creative enterprise hub. The land is being leased for a peppercorn rent but must be developed by the lessee in accordance with a pre-agreed development plan 
  • Acts for public bodies in the leasing of office space for their staff around the country 
  • Acted for aviation companies in the leasing of spaces around Shannon airport
  • Acted for clients in the Superior Courts in relation to property disputes and recently attended the Land Registry Court under the Registration of Title Act 1964 in order to procure the rectification of title to a property on behalf of an insurer  
  • Engaged in a number of applications under Section 25 of the Trustees Act 1893 in the Superior Courts in order to regularise and rectify common areas for both commercial and residential developments 
  • Handled a claim on behalf of Barrington’s Hospital involving a landlord and tenant dispute with a physiotherapist whose premises was on site and which was compromised on the best terms available, thereby avoiding a court hearing and an additional layer of costs
  • Advised on the incorrect validation of a newly constructed industrial unit on the BCAR register.
