We were delighted to attend the formal launch by an Tánaiste, Micheál Martin TD, of the Irish World Aviation Academy on Monday 22 May 2023 at the Air Nav Ireland Tower in Dublin Airport.
The academy is a strategic partnership between the University of Limerick and AirNav Ireland, the National air navigation service provider. This is the first time that a University and a Statutory Navigation Authority have formed a formal entity to act on learning, research and the deployment of commercial opportunity in support of the commercial navigation sector. The academy aims to deliver high quality graduates to the aviation industry and will deliver research led and experiential executive grade education in aviation.
