In support of their continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a banking and property law Solicitor. This role is flexible on location and can be based in either our Limerick or Dublin office. This is a full time role and salary will be based on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the requisite technical knowledge in Commercial Banking/ Property Law
  • Deliver clear and precise advice to clients to meet their expectations as a Solicitor.
  • Manage clients on the fees- provide clients with information regarding retainers, estimates, timely billing and fee collection
  • Undertaking relevant legal research as required
  • Manage client relationship during the course of business
  • Where appropriate, instruct and supervise support staff in relation to their roles in the transactoin process.
  • Update partner / fee earner in charge of file with regard to progress of case
  • Keep appraised of changes in Banking and Property procedures and developments in law.
  • Undertaking any other associated duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor PQE 3-6 Years
  • Practising Certificate.
  • Compliance with Continuing Professional Development (“C.P.D.”) requirements.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of three years PQE in a mid tier or large Irish law firm
  • Experience in banking and finance law is required.
  • Experience in real estate and construction law would be desirable
  • Excellent analytical & drafting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, to meet deadlines and to see tasks through to conclusion
